The World Series just ended on Sunday, but this afternoon, Notre Dame and USA Baseball made a big announcement about next spring.
The Fighting Irish and Team USA will partner to host the 2013 USA Baseball-Irish Classic presented by the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance. The tournament will be held March 1-3 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
In addition to Mik Aoki‘s squad, the six-team tournament will include Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Massachusetts, Ohio and Rhode Island.
