The Irish at last year's BIG EAST championships. The Irish women’s and men’s swimming and diving programs have descended upon Indianapolis for the next four days as they compete in the BIG EAST Championships. The men look to repeat as BIG EAST champions after they dethroned rival Louisville last season. The women look to claim back the title that they had held for 14 straight seasons before the Louisville women claimed the title the last two seasons.
Both programs will battle with rival Louisville all weekend as the two programs figure to finish one-two in both the men and women’s final standings.
Be sure to check this blog and also und.com for updates after each session. Additionally, we will have a post about senior Christopher Johnson up over the next couple of days.
